Job Description
We are seeking a reliable and safety-conscious Bus Conductor to assist the school bus driver in transporting students to and from school, as well as to extracurricular events. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a strong commitment to safety, and the ability to work with students of varying ages and abilities.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the school bus driver in transporting students to and from school
- Ensure student safety during transportation
- Monitor student behavior and report any incidents to the driver or school administration
- Assist students with getting on and off the bus as needed
- Maintain a clean and organized bus environment
- Report any mechanical issues or concerns to the driver or transportation coordinator
- Discipline children as needed to maintain a safe environment
- Perform child checks after each run
Job Requirement
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to pass a background check and physical examination
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work with students of varying ages and abilities
- Basic first aid and CPR training
