Job Description

We are seeking a reliable and safety-conscious School Bus Driver to transport students to and from school, as well as to extracurricular events. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a clean driving record, and a strong commitment to ensuring the well-being of students.

Responsibilities:
* Safely transporting students to and from school, following designated routes and schedules
* Conducting pre-trip inspections to ensure the bus is in good working condition
* Ensuring the safety of students boarding, riding, and departing the bus
* Assisting students with getting on and off the bus as needed
* Managing student behavior and preventing disruptions
* Communicating effectively with students, parents, and school staff
* Reporting any mechanical problems or maintenance needs to the transportation coordinator
* Adhering to traffic laws and regulations to ensure passenger safety
* Sweep, clean, and refuel buses

Job Requirement

* Clean driving record with no at-fault accidents or traffic citations within the last five years
* Two or more years of experience working with children preferred
* Ability to carry out assigned route on time
* Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with passenger and school bus endorsements
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to maintain a safe and respectful environment for students
